This course offers an introductory overview of financial and management accounting concepts, exploring key topics such as the accounting process, transaction analysis, financial statement preparation and analysis, and management accounting techniques relevant to planning, controlling, and decision-making activities within organizations. You will learn the fundamental accounting concepts and principles, business recording, processes, and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Additionally, we will cover how management accounting information can support effective planning, organizing, controlling, and decision-making within an organization.

It is designed to introduce you to the basic principles of management and concepts, with an emphasis on the four management functions: planning, organising, leading, and controlling.
