This course aims to give you an overview of the latest developments in this field, with special focus on planning, preparing, organizing, and utilizing corporate communication in an organization. You will learn practices such as crafting corporate messages to stakeholders, management of identity, image and reputation, advertising, corporate social responsibility, media relations, employee communications, and government relations. Explore various corporate communication roles within an organization and how they affect the organization and its stakeholders.

Employee engagement and digital transformation are important aspects of communication strategies of corporations in current times. The syllabus of this course includes the fundamentals of both, as well as brand management and stakeholder relations. We also cover implementation of successful business communication programmes, messaging, branding, PR, crisis management, and stakeholder involvement. You will learn to examine an organization’s communication needs, create clear and consistent messaging, and manage relationship with stakeholders via appropriate communication channels including press releases, speeches, and social media content.

Design thinking an approach to solution design in which the needs of the consumer take precedence. It relies on empathic observations of how people interact with their environments. It is “human-centred,” which means design elements are based on evidence of the ways consumers interact with a product or service, as opposed to decisions from the business’s point of view.
